Join the fun of lantern riddles with family and friends, let a calligraphy master write auspicious spring couplets for you, and capture the moment in the festival-themed photo area. Engage in other delightful activities like crafting dough figurines and trying your hand at paper cutting. Some of our wonderful local friends, including Bike to the Sea, Mystic River Watershed Association, and The Gallery@57 and will be part of the celebration!

USPS Lunar New Year Stamp Unveiling Ceremony 农历新年邮票揭幕式

Our event has long served as a stage for the unveiling of the Lunar New Year stamps issued by the U.S. Postal Service. This year, the Postmaster of Boston will be with us to introduce the latest series, dedicated to the Year of the Dragon.
每年，美国邮政 (USPS) 波士顿分局的工作人员都会来到“华夏之春”现场，和摩顿市市长一起，为观众们揭晓由特别发行的“中国农历生肖”系列邮票。今年，他们也将和我们一起，揭开龙年邮票的神秘面纱！

Every year, the Chinese Culture Connection proudly presents the Malden Lunar New Year Celebration, honoring the culturally significant Lunar New Year celebrated among diverse Asian communities. Over the past 14 years, the event's popularity has expanded far beyond Malden, attracting attendees from neighboring cities and towns such as Cambridge, Everett, Medford, Melrose, Revere, Saugus, Stoneham, Somerville, Wakefield, and beyond. Today, it has blossomed into one of the largest events of its kind in Greater Boston, welcoming 800 to 1,000 participants annually from across the region.
