Dear friends and community leaders,

 

We at the Chinese Culture Connection, during the global COVID-19 pandemic, have taken precautions to ensure the safety of our staff, families, and the greater community by temporarily suspending all of our face-to-face programs and services. Additionally, our Annual Fundraising Gala has been postponed until further notice. Please come back to check the latest updates.

 

Each year we recognize 3 special individuals, organizations or groups who have committed and contributed their talents and time for the betterment of our society in the area of the arts, culture and humanities. The recipients for the 2020 awards are as follows:  the Community Services Award will be presented to the Asian Community Development Corporation; the Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion Award goes to Debbie Amaral, CEO of the Malden YMCA; and the Outstanding Arts and Culture Award goes to Cynthia Yee.

 

We share our common vision with these honorees, as the mission of the Chinese Culture Connection is to promote intercultural harmony, strengthen diverse communities, and build bridges between American and ethnic Chinese through interactive educational programs and the arts. Through sharing and promoting the understanding and appreciation of Chinese arts and culture, we continue to bring people together. The celebration of cultural diversity is what makes this world go around.
