Veda Daly has been an educator in the Boston Public Schools since 1978 as the Director of Instruction at the Curley k-8. After 33 years of service, she retired in 2011. As a lifelong learner, Veda is passionate about studying different genres of art. She was especially interested in Sumi-e and had been taking private lessons for the last fourteen years. She has studied Japanese calligraphy for the past five years and continues lessons at the Kaji Aso studio. Veda joined the Board of the Chinese Culture Connection on Feb 2023 and hopes to learn more about Chinese arts.
