Christopher Beels has a strong connection to, and passion for China. He had the opportunity to study Chinese Language and Culture in college for four years, and lived in Shanghai in 2009. Christopher considers himself to be fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and is HSK Level 3 certified. He founded an organization named “China Bryant Connection,” and eventually successfully petitioned for national membership into the “Global China Connection” network of colleges to promote Chinese Language and Culture, business, and networking. Additionally, he had the experience of working with Bryant University’s U.S. China Institute and Confucius Institute, where he helped organize StarTalk summer workshops that helped students learn more about Chinese Language and Culture.
