About us

The Chinese Culture Connection is a Boston based non-profit organization founded in 1985 to promote an understanding and appreciation for Chinese culture through educational programs in visual and performing arts for schools, libraries, museums and community centers.

The Founders believed that by promoting an understanding and appreciation for Chinese culture through educational programs in visual and performing arts, the organization would address positive aspects of all cultures. By celebrating Chinese culture with both Asian and non-Asian students, the Chinese Culture Connection promotes the value of heritage to American born Chinese so they may develop and preserve their sense of cultural identity AND encourage understanding, respect and communication among all cultural groups.
